HAZING

Any intentional, knowing, or reckless act committed by a person, individually or with others, against another person, regardless of the victim's willingness to participate, that:

Is committed during initiation into, affiliation with, or maintenance of membership in a student organization
Causes or creates a risk of physical or psychological injury beyond what is considered reasonable for participation in the institution or organization.

STUDENT ORGANIZATION

An organization at an institution of higher education, such as a club, society, association, athletic team, fraternity, sorority, band, or student government, comprising two or more students, regardless of whether the organization is officially recognized by the institution.
