Build amazing friendships while learning about college and careers in business at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ City University’s Summer Business Academy.
Open to high school sophomores, juniors, seniors, our 3-day camp at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ will teach you about careers in business and give you the opportunity to sample Accounting, Finance and Marketing Âé¶¹´«Ã½ from Meinders School of Business professors.
This summer we will be meeting the corporate team + tour of the , visiting local business consulting firm in the Plaza District, taking a tour of the headquarters for $1.8 billion and then getting an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the facility before enjoying the 2028 Olympic rapids course.
The camp will boost your resume and scholarship applications, highlighting your interest in business-related learning opportunities and building your leadership skills.
Tuition: $195
Includes shuttle transportation to field trips, lunches/snacks, Meinders T-shirts and admission to Riversport OKC.
Requirements:
Campers must have health insurance and sign a release of liability prior to attending summer camp.

9:15 – 10:15 a.m. Dr. James Ma Ph.D. shares his insight into different career paths for students who choose finance as a major. Bloomberg Finance Lab
10:15 – 10:30 a.m. Break with snacks.
10:30 – 11:15 a.m. Introduction to the fundamentals of Marketing and how to these skills apply to a successful business career with Dr. Jason Flores. RM 120
11:15 a.m. – Noon Lunch. RM 120
Noon – 12:30 p.m. Shuttle to OKC Thunder Corporate Office.
12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Meet with the OKC Thunder executive team to learn what it takes to run a pro sports team & career options in professional sports.
1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Tour the Paycom Arena and grab some Thunder swag.
2:30 – 3 p.m. Shuttle back to MSB.
3 – 4 p.m. Summary of Days 1 and 2 conversation.

Wednesday, July 23 | Accounting & OKC Riversport
9 – 9:15 a.m. Check in + Networking with other students (breakfast provided).
9:15 – 10:30 a.m. Leadership Skills with MSB Dean Bob Greve. RM 120
10:30 – 11:15 a.m. Assistant Professor of Accounting Robin Walker, DNA, CPA shares her insight into different career paths for students who choose accounting as a major. RM 120
11:15 a.m. – Noon Lunch (change clothes for the rapids).
Noon – 12:30 p.m. Shuttle to the Boathouse District.
12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Meet with Mike Knopp, Executive Director for the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ City Boathouse Foundation for a behind-the-scenes tour of the facilities.
1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Free time to explore Adventure Attractions. Experience exciting, authentic whitewater rafting at Riversport Rapids.
3:30 – 4 p.m. Shuttle back to Âé¶¹´«Ã½.
4 – 5 p.m. Summer Business Academy Recap. Parents are encouraged to attend this closing session with the Meinders School of Business Dean to recap the camp activities, learn about programs, scholarships & ask questions. MSB 3rd floor, Large Gardner Conference Room
